2014 Westside Crossing Pinot Noir
Deep aromas of bramble and warm cherry pie lead to more refined notes of red cherry fruit, savory herbs, cinnamon, rose petal, and orange rind. Mushrooms and earth add to the complexity. Supple texture and ripe fruit fill the palate. Red and black cherries and spice race with the mouthwatering acid in the lengthy finish. This wine has all the pedigree of classic Russian River Valley Pinot Noir!
This Pinot Noir is sourced from a selection of neighborhood vineyards that thrive near our historic Wohler Bridge that spans the Russian River. The fruit, 53% Estate Grown, was fermented with native yeast in open-top fermenters and aged for 11 months in 10% new French oak.
